Change of leadership in the Salvation Army - India

We have the following updates from the Salvation Army India -

The Salvation Army India National Secretariat, Kolkata received its new Leaders Lieutenant Colonels Daniel Raju Dasari and Baby Sarojini Dasari. 

The colonels took the charge of the The Salvation Army National Office on 1st of June 2014. Lieut-Colonel Daniel Raju Dasari is the new National Secretary effective from on 1st June 2014.


Lieut-Colonels Davidson Varghese and Mariamma Varghese who previously served in India National Secretariat have moved from Kolkata to Aizawl, Lieut-Colonel Davidson Varghese is the Chief Secretary and Lieut-Colonel Mariamma Varghese is the Territorial Secretary for Women's Ministries of India Eastern Territory, Mizoram.
Commissioners M C James and Susamma James, currently serve in India South Eastern Territory, having its headquarters in Tirunelveli, are going to move as the Territorial Leaders to India Western Territory, headquarters in Mumbai. They will be the leaders of the territory from on 1st of July 2014.

Commissioner M C James will be the Territorial Commander and Commissioner Susamma James will be the Territorial President of Women's Ministries of India Western Territory, Mumbai, effective from on 1st of July 2014.


Lieut-Colonels Edwin Masih and Sumita Masih, currently serve in Chennai are moving to Tirunelveli, India South Eastern Territory(Tamil) as the leaders of the territory. They have been promoted to the rank of Colonels and Colonel Edwin Masih will be the Territorial Commander and Colonel Sumita Masih will be the Territorial President of Women's Ministries of India South Eastern Territory, it is effective from 1st of July 2014. 


Lieut-Colonels Joginder Masih and Shanti Joginder previously served in India Northern Territory, New Delhi have moved to Mumbai, India Western Territory as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women's Ministries, effective from 1st of June 2014.


Lieut-Colonels Chelliah Moni and Mallika Moni have moved from Trivandrum to Chennai as the Territorial Leaders of India Central Territory. They are promoted to the ranks Colonel. 

Colonel Chelliah Moni is the Territorial Commander and Colonel Mallika Moni is the Territorial President of Women's Ministries of India Central Territory, their appointments are effective from on 1st of June 2014.

Lieut-Colonels Jashwant  Mahida and Ruth Mahida currently serve in Mumbai are now going to move to Chennai as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women's Ministries of India Central Territory.
